Empowering U Homeopathy provides presentations and webinars in classical homeopathy to colleges and universities, health conferences and organizations, parent groups, online forums and students.

Bara Waters has been an educator and advocate in the holistic health movement for over two decades. Though no longer in homeopathic practice, her education and advocacy business Empowering U Homeopathy, provides presentations and webinars in classical homeopathy to colleges and universities, health conferences and organizations, parent groups, online forums and students. 

 

Since 2000, Waters has served in various roles – educator, student mentor, curriculum developer, clinic director – at the Homeopathic Academy of Southern California, the Los Angeles School of Homeopathy, the Pacific Academy of Homeopathy, and the Berkeley Institute of Homeopathy.

 

Waters has been a featured speaker at the University of California-San Francisco Medical School, the University of California-Irvine Medical School, the Samueli Center for Integrated Medicine, the Osher Center for Integrated Medicine, the National Center for Homeopathy, the California Homeopathic Medical Society, and numerous other health organizations, television and radio shows.

 

Waters is a co-founder of the Homeopathic Institute of the Pacific (HIP), a nonprofit that established three low-cost homeopathic treatment clinics to serve veterans, low-income families and the homeless in the San Francisco Bay area. Waters is also the creator of Homeo Pie – the international song and music video sensation about the history of homeopathy in America (based on Don McLean’s song, American Pie).

 

Waters holds advanced degrees (D.Hom, M.Hom) in classical homeopathy from the Hahnemann College of Homeopathy (London) and Curentur University (American University of Complementary Medicine, Los Angeles). She is a designated Homeopathic Master Clinician (HMC), and has trained with the world’s preeminent homeopaths.  Waters also holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan.
